Cbea Pagnchanak – Program Coordinator

As a new graduate, Pagnchanak joined WaterSHED in August 2012 as a Program Assistant. He worked on different tasks to improve programmatic systems and strategies for successful project implementation. Whether behind his desk or in the field, Pagnchanak is always dedicated and committed to his work.

In April 2013, with fruitful results and great achievements, Pagnchanak was promoted to Program Coordinator. He is now the leader of the program team with three assistants. Unlike his previous position, he now has to learn to lead and manage his team to ensure the best outcomes.

Pagnchanak graduated from Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL) majoring in Teaching English as a Foreign Languages (TEFL) in 2012 along with another degree at Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) in Banking and Finance field. He got his first job at WaterSHED shortly after his graduation.

Being passionate in volunteerism, Pagnchanak has been actively involved in many youth and environmental programs during his academic years. He also participated in Youth Summer Camp 2011 in Siem Reap Province organized by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport. With high commitment, Pagnchanak also volunteered at AIESEC and served as Vice President for the Local Committee RULE in 2011-12. This position has prepared him to manage in his current position.

“Working in real life is quite a bit different from what I thought it would be when I was in school, and working in WaterSHED is a completely different experience from what I think most workplaces would be. When you lead a team and you feel like a bunch of friends in school, the term ‘Nothing is impossible’ takes place!”
