Ai Huynh, as a project coordinator in WaterSHED Vietnam, she is chiefly responsible for coordinating project team members for on-the-ground implementation, and also serves as a primary liaison for external partners and Vietnam.

Before working for WaterSHED, she was Vietnamese college director of Coach for College program – an NGO founded in Duke University whose mission is to promote underprivileged youth in Southern Vietnam with higher education through sports. Her job was to lead Vietnamese college students through 6 months of training and curriculum development in preparation stage;  to daily work with American couterparts from ACC schools to successfully manage a camp of over 100 middle school children as well as to ensure health and safety issues in implementation stage in Hau Giang province. Prior to that, she served as a researcher with post-graduates from the United Nations University (UNU) and Danish Institute for International Studies whose studies are natural resource management and aquaculture value chains of Lower Mekong region, in cooperation with Can Tho University (Vietnam) where she receives a degree in Economics. Through the job opportunities, she gained combined experience of entrepreneurial culture and social-economic condition of rural regions in Southern Vietnam which helps to establish firm foundation for her to lead the project team to activate WASH market in the region.
